Breakfast is the most important meal of the day… or so we’re told. But for a long day in the Magic Kingdom, it’s a good idea to get a good snack for breakfast at the very least, to give you energy for rides and attractions, up until you feel peckish, or feel like lunch!
There are four types of ‘meals’ at Walt Disney World; snacks, quick service, normal sit down meals, and character meals, which could be either buffet or a la carte. Here we’re giving our tips on the best breakfast snack in Magic Kingdom.
What Breakfast Snacks to get in Magic Kingdom
There are a lot of different snacks you can get at Magic Kingdom; most of the pastries. These can be either smaller, or cheaper, than a full sit down meal or quick service breakfast, but will satisfy your tastebuds and hopefully fill you for a few hours!
Our Top three Breakfast Snacks at Magic Kingdom:
- Cinnamon Waffle with Strawberries and Cream – Sleepy Hollow
- Delicious, and with fruit on there, nutritious?! This is from Sleep Hollow cafe based in Liberty Square. $6.79, and well worth it, very filling, and delicious!

- Colossal Mickey Cinnamon Roll
- The Colossal Cinnamon Roll will fill you right up first thing in the morning! You can find these at Main Street Bakery (now Starbucks) in Magic Kingdom, and also at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. At $6.29, it also is very reasonable.

- Cheshire Cat Tail
- I’ll admit, when I first saw this, I was not convinced. But once you have a single bite, this is one of the tastiest snacks in all of Walt Disney World. The sweet purple icing, chocolate chips, chewy pastry and considerable portion makes this a great breakfast snack option. At $4.99, not bad value either!

Good Alternatives to our Top Three:
- Fresh Fruit – all around the park
- There are a lot of vendors selling fresh fruit around the park; oranges, apples, bananas, though, all at a greatly inflated price than if you bring your own in. Still, it’s nice to have the option with all the rest of these pastry options!

- Gaston’s Tavern Cinnamon roll
- This thing is a BEAST. And very tasty, and very filling. This can easily feed two people. And just $5.99.

Should I go for a quick service or sit down breakfast instead at Magic Kingdom?:
Only you can really answer that; do you or your family like to eat a lot in the morning, or do you want to get something quick to tide you over to an early lunch, or, do you just not eat a lot in the morning?
The other side, is do you want the experience that can come with a proper quick service or sit-down meal? The cost of breakfast for a snack vs the likes of sit down in Be Our Guest is night and day, because you pay for the experience as much as the meal.
With multiple options, consider what is important to you!

Should I just get breakfast at my resort before going to Magic Kingdom?
In our opinion, getting into the park in the morning should be your priority. After some time getting ready, you’re going to want to get to a park for the morning, especially if it is your first time! Breakfast at a resort should be for a relaxed day, or as part of a grab and go; though remember, the resort breakfasts can be busy and slow with all families getting food before going to the park. If you can wait, you can eat when you get there!
