Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe: Great Value and Fun for Cars Fans
If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay at Disneyland Paris that still gives you that Disney magic, Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe is a fantastic option. The hotel is themed around Disney-Pixar’s Cars, so if you have kids who love Lightning McQueen, they’re going to be thrilled. The rooms are decorated with fun Cars details, which really adds to the excitement of the stay. I’m particular a fan of the Traffic Cone lamps.

We found the hotel to be a good value for the money. It’s one of the cheapest options on-site, but you still get to enjoy some nice amenities. There’s an indoor play area for the kids and character meet-and-greets, which our little ones loved. The La Cantina restaurant serves a Tex-Mex buffet, which was pretty good, though it might get repetitive if you’re staying for more than a couple of days. There’s also a bar called the Rio Grande where you can grab a drink and relax.

The hotel is a bit farther from the parks compared to some of the other hotels—about a 20-minute walk—but there’s a shuttle bus that makes it easy to get there quickly. For us, the walk was actually a nice way to start the day, but if you’re tired after a long day at the parks, the bus is handy.
Pros of staying at Hotel Santa Fe at Disneyland Paris:
- Budget-Friendly: It’s the cheapest hotel at Disneyland Paris, making it easier to stay on-site without spending too much.
- Fun for Cars Fans: The themed rooms are a big hit with kids who love Cars, and it adds an extra layer of fun to your stay.
- Convenient Shuttle Service: The shuttle bus to the parks is quick and easy, which is great after a long day of fun.
Cons of staying at Hotel Santa Fe at Disneyland Paris:
- Basic Amenities: The hotel is more basic compared to others in the resort, so don’t expect luxury.
- Limited Dining: The only main restaurant is a Tex-Mex buffet, which might not appeal to everyone.
- Distance to Parks: It’s a bit of a walk to the parks, which might be tiring for younger kids, though the shuttle helps with that.
Overall, Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe is perfect if you’re looking to save some money while still getting that Disney experience. It’s especially great if your kids are into Cars and you don’t mind a bit of a walk or a shuttle ride to get to the parks.
